Based on the true story of Dr. Marcel Petiot: During World War II, in Nazi-occupied Paris, a seemingly respectable physician offered desperate Jewish patients a way to escape to Spain. But behind closed doors, he drugged and murdered them, incinerating their bodies in his home while stealing their possessions. After the Liberation of France, Petiot’s horrific crimes came to light, and he was ultimately sentenced to death.
